ALOO MATAR SABJI | POTATO GREEN PEAS | It is a classic north Indian cuisine made with potatoes and tender green peas, adding flavours, easy recipe, tastes good with Chapatis, Pulav or Steamed rice.

INGREDIENTS

1.5 Cup Green Peas
2 Potatoes
1 Onion
1 Tomato
7-8 Garlic Pods
2 Green Chillies 
1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
1/2 Mustard seeds
1/2 tsp Garam Masala
1 tsp Coriander powder
1/2 tsp Pepper Powder
Salt (To Taste)
1 Tbsp Oil

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Chop 2 Potatoes, 1 Onion, 1 Tomato, 7-8 Garlic pods and 2 Green chillies. Keep Aside.



  2. Now in a pan, add 1 tbsp oil. To it add 1/2 mustard seeds. Once it crackle, add 1/2 Cumin seeds and chopped potatoes. Mix well and let it cook for a couple of minute.
  3. To it add chopped onion, garlic, chillies and tomato. Mix well.



  4. Add 1/2 tsp pepper powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1/2 garam masala and salt. 



  5. Mix well and cook with lid closed.



  6. Garnish with coriander leaves or kasuri methi. Serve with Chapathis.
