BEANS CARROT THORAN| BEANS CARROT SABJI| SOUTH INDIAN| KERALA STYLE THORAN
INGREDIENT
200 gms French Beans
2 medium Carrots
1 Onion
1-2 Green Chillis
5-6 Garlic pods
1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
1/2 tsp PepperPowder
Few Curry Leaves
Salt to taste
1/2 Cup Water
Oil 1 tbsp
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Finely chop 200gm Fresh beans, 2 Carrots, 1 Onion and 1-2 green chillies.
2. In a Pan, add 1 tbsp Oil. To it add 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds. Let it crackle. Add 5-6 Garlic pods.
3. Add chopped Vegetables, Salt and 1 tsp Pepper Powder. Mix well, cover with lid and cook for few minutes.
4. Remove the lid, add 1/2 cup water & few curry leaves. Cook again for another couple of minutes till water gets absorbed.
5. Serve hot with Rice or Chappathi.
