INGREDIENTS

  1. Rice                                                 2 Cups
  2. Water                                              4 Cups
  3. Carrot                                              2 Medium Size
  4. Beans                                              7-8
  5. Onion                                              2 Medium Size
  6. Ginger/Garlic Paste                       2 Tsp
  7. Salt                                                  To Taste
  8. Oil                                                    1 Tbsp
  9. Pepper                                             1-2 Tsp
  10. Lime Juice                                       1 Tsp
  11. Spring onions/coriander leaves    1/2 Cup

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Take 2 Cups of Basmati Rice. Wash throughly and soak in water for 20 minutes.


2. In a deep bottom pan, add 1 tbsp oil. To it add chopped carrots, beans and onion. Saute for few minutes. 




3. Add rice to it. Drain water completely from the rice before adding.

4. Add 2 Tsp ginger garlic paste. It would enhance its flavour.


5.  Cook rice for couple of minutes until rice becomes dry.


6. Add 2 Tsp pepper powder, salt according to taste, 1 Tsp Lime juice and 4 cups of water. Mix nicely and cook until water is fully absorbed.


7. Garnish with some spring onions and coriander leaves. Serve hot.
