SPROUTED RAGI MALT /PORRIDGE POWDER (For babies 6 Months and above)
Ragi has ever been a health and extremely nutritious grain for one and all. Its dietary fibres helps the baby with proper digestion. Here's is another Porridge mix powder that you can include in your baby's diet.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING PORRIDGE POWDER
- Wash Ragi throughly until the water runs clear.
- Soak Ragi in water for 8 to 12 hours or overnight.
- Drain the water completely and cover it in a damp cloth for 12-24 hours.
- Now spread the sprouted ragi well in a dry cheesecloth or cotton cloth.
- Let it dry for 2 or more days. Dry till the grains becomes well crispy to be powdered. Drying ragi under sun tastes better than roasting it in a pan.
- Grind it for fine powder.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR COOKING RAGI PORRIDGE
- Mix well 2 tsp of ragi in water. Can use mixer for the same. And pass it through sieve. By doing this , the porridge will be smooth in texture.
- Cook it for 5-10 mins in Water or Milk, add then Ghee and Sugar. Instead of Sugar, can use Jaggery or Palm sugar.
- Serve Warm.
