MIXED MOONG AND RICE PORRIDGE MIX (For babies 10 Months and above)
Mixed Moong and Rice porridge mix is highly nutritious for babies/ toddlers. It is very health and can be served as main food. This protein rich food promotes with healthy weight gain in babies.

INGREDIENTS
- Mung Bean (Moong Dal)- 2 Cup
- Rice- 2 Cup
- Broken Wheat (Daliya)- 1/2 Cup
- Semolina (Suji)- 1/2 Cup
INSTRUCTIONS FOR MAKING PORRIDGE MIX POWDER
- Wash separately Moong Dal, Rice and Broken Wheat until water runs clear.
- Drain the water fully and pat dry. Let it sun dry for 1 or more days.
- Take a deep bottom pan, toast Moong dal in medium flame. Stir frequently. Keep aside and let it cool down.
- Now dry toast Rice in medium flame until golden brown colour. Stir frequently.
- Similarly toast Broken Wheat and Semolina for 7-10 mins.
- To enhance its flavour, I added dry toasted 2 or 3 numbers of Cardamoms and 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds.
- Now grind together to form fine powder and store it in air tight container.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR COOKING PORRIDGE
- Take 2 tsp of Porridge Mix Powder, mix it with Water or Milk. Stir well to avoid lumps. Strain the content to get a smooth textured porridge or can cook as it is without straining.
- Cook it in 1 cup of milk or water in low to medium flame for 10 mins. Stir continuously else it will get stick to the pan & will form lumps.
- Add Sugar or Jaggery and few drops of Ghee. Serve warm.
