COFFEE CHOCO TRUFFLE CAKE
INGREDIENTS
- All Purpose Flour- 2 Cups
- Powdered Sugar- 2 Cups
- Eggs- 3
- Oil- 1 Cup
- Baking Powder- 1 tsp
- Baking Soda- 1/2 tsp
- Vanilla Essence- 1/2 tsp
For Making Coffee Cream
- Coffee Powder- 4 tsp
- Hot Water- 4 tsp
- Sugar- 4 tsp
For Making Chocolate Syrup
- Choco Powder- 2 tbsp
- Coffee Powder- 2 tsp
- Corn FLour- 2 tsp
- Milk- 1 Cup
- Butter- 2 tsp
- Sugar- 2 tbsp
INSTRUCTIONS
- First lets start with Coffee Cream. Take a bowl, Mix 4 tsp of Coffee Powder, 4 tsp of Sugar and 4 tsp of hot water. Beat well until the mixture becomes fluffy, creamy and forms stiff peaks.
- Add 2 cups of Powdered Sugar & 2 tsp of Vanilla Essence in Egg yolk. Mix well until the mixture is pale yellow , becomes thick and forms ribbon.
- In another bowl, sieve 2 cups of All Purpose Flour/Maida, 1 tsp Baking Powder and 1/2 tsp Baking Soda. Add all the prepared mix of Egg white, Egg yolk and Coffee Cream. Also add 1 cup of Oil in it. Mix Properly.
- Now Preheat the Oven at 180 degree celsius. Grease the Baking tray with oil and sprinkle little flour on it. Pour the Cake batter in the tray and pat two three times to avoid air bubbles, and bake it for 30 mins at 180 degree celsius.
- Meanwhile make Chocolate Coffee Topping. In a pan, boil 1 cup of Milk, 2 tbsp Choco Powder, 1 tsp Coffee Powder, 2 tsp Butter and 2 tbsp Sugar. Add cornflour mixed with water. Boil till the syrup thickens.
- Let the cake cool down to normal temperature. Now cut the cake into 3 or 4 layers. Brush each layer with Sugar syrup and Chocolate Syrup.
- Place the Cake over a stand and pour the remaining Chocolate Coffee Syrup over the Cake. Decorate with some sugar balls, as per your need.
