BANANA JAM | BANANA HALWA

INGREDIENTS

  1. Nenthra Banana-  2
  2. Jaggery-                1 Cup
  3. Cashews-               8-10
  4. Kismis-                   10-15
  5. Ghee-                     1 Cup
  6. Cardamom-          2 Pods
      
INSTRUCTIONS
  1.  Take fully ripened Nenthran Banana.




2. Peel, chop and make a smooth paste of it. Make sure there is no lumps.






3. Keep aside. Now in a pan, take 1/2 cup of water, add 1 cup jaggery to it.     Let it boil till it gets completely melted. 



5.) Pass Jaggery syrup through sieve to get rid of impurities if any and          keep it aside.





6.) Now heat 2 Tsp Ghee. Add Chopped Cashew nuts, Badam and Rasins.        Saute for couple of minutes and keep aside.






7.) Take a pan, add 1 cup ghee. To it add banana paste.





8.)  Cook for 2 minutes , then add jaggery syrup to it and crushed cardamom . Cook until the oil gets seperate. Garnish with roasted dry fruits.
